Yesterday was a great day!

The MOMS Club organized a trip on the Skunk Train for us. First we drove out to Camp Mendocino. It's a boys and girls camp in the summer, but right now they're getting it ready for the campers so there are two families there at the moment. They both have little kids, so they were happy to have us come and play for the day.
It's such a beautiful camp, surrounded by redwood trees, and far enough out of town that it gets warm. We showed up and hung out for a bit, then the train picked up up and took us to Northspur. It was only a 10 minute ride, which seemed perfect for the kids, and I think we all felt pretty special having the train stop just for us. When arrived at Northspur, we had a little lunch, ice cream, hung out and enjoyed the beautiful day.
The train took us back to camp, then we hung out and played and saw some really cute piglets. We all had so much fun and it made me feel so lucky to stay home with the boys and have the opportunity to do things like this with them.
I had shorts picked out and Elio insisted on wearing cowboys boots.
Kinda funny outfit, but he looks pretty cute!
 The swinging bridge.
Can you see the train coming in the background?
 Enjoying the outdoor car.
 mmm...ice cream.

We just got back from a great weekend away in Vacaville. We went over for Raquel's Bridal Shower. It was such a nice shower, most of the cousin's were there which made it really fun for Elio.
We are so excited for the arrival of baby Nelepovitz, only about a month left, and it can come fast enough!

Elio was such a great little helper.

It was nice to get away for a couple of days, for shopping, relaxing and hot tubing!

♥ Happy Bridal Shower Anna ♥

Anna is one of my really good friends. Actually we've been friends since I can remember, so when she asked me to be part of her big day, I couldn't have been more thrilled.

One of the other bridesmaids threw her such a beautiful bridal shower this last weekend in the Bay Area. I loved getting away for the night and having a little girls time!

Happy Sunday!
A little tractor work in the morning.

Putting together the new swing set.

Uncle Richie was having a little fun. (play video)

A crab trip in the afternoon.

We even caught a starfish,

and saw a few sea lions.

P.S. Can you see how flat the ocean is? It was like a lake out there. I didn't even get sick!

I'm sitting here on the couch sick AGAIN!
Strep throat, it's the second time in less than 2 months.
I'm taking this opportunity to update the blog!

My brother, his wife and kids were in town this weekend to celebrate Easter. Easter happens to be my moms favorite holiday. She loves doing an egg hunt. Not just for the little ones, She makes us all do it. I can't say as I complain because we always end up walking away with a little cash!

Here's a few pic's of the boys:

Elio really loves his Uncle Richie, and he especially loves motorcycle rides with him!

The morning really did me in for the day, I was feeling horrible. So Kyle, being the super dad that he is, took the boys outside with him all afternoon while I rested.

The boys were cold and wet, so they hopped into the  bath. Elio got out, Nico stayed in while the water drained. He was having so much fun playing in the leftover bubbles, I had to take a few pics:

In other news, the boys are getting a new playground soon. Well, as soon as the weather clears up and the ground dries out a little. This is what we have going so far:

Kyle's been doing tractor work and leveling out the ground, then comes weed block, wood chips and the super cool swing set.
Can't wait!

and we're at it again...

Nico is pretty much into EVERYTHING! I remember when Elio went through that phase too, but they slowly grow out of it and you kinda forget that it happened. Then when number two comes around, they like to remind you about all the things the first child has grown out of. They both are in really fun stages, but I can't say as I'll miss this:
Don't get me wrong, it's really cute when he does new things. But when I came into the kitchen to find him like this, it scares me. I also found him standing on top of the counter looking in the cupboard for a snack. I'm not a fan of them doing things that are dangerous. Which I know is only going to get worse, I mean, they are boys. But for now, the stools are moved to the garage.

With Nico, everyday there's something new. He's starting to say a lot of new words, and understand things more and more. He's getting old enough to go outside and play when Kyle and Elio are out there. We definitely have a couple of boys that love being outside (I wish this rain would go away though!)

Elio is getting to be such a big boy, in just a couple of months he'll be turning 3. It seems like he was just a little baby, and know he's a little boy. He's so much fun to be around, and he makes us laugh, a lot. In the pic above, he got himself dressed, because he wanted to go outside. I thought he looked so cute! His new thing is saying "look at me." He wants us to watch his every move, from jumping off the couch like superman, to filling his cheeks full of water like a chipmunk. I think he probably says it about 20 times a day, and I'm not kidding.

This last weekend Elio had  his first sleepover with his cousins. He's had sleepovers before with Kyle's parents, but that's been it. The girls were staying with their Nonna and Nonno (Bob and Donna) and they invited Elio to stay too. I wasn't quite sure how he would do, but he did great!
