 Woohoo!
I just made the minimum fundraising requirement for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer!
That means I officially get to walk, and I'm super excited.
I've raised $1800.00 and am still going!

Happy 3rd Birthday Elio!

Despite Elio, Nico and I all being sick this weekend
(the boys both had their first 24 hour flu),
I'm pretty sure he had the best birthday,
a boy turning three could ask for.

He started the day with gingerbread shaped pancakes- his request.

Then a little fishing trip with Daddy, Nonno, and Nico.

They didn't catch any fish, but they did go to the park to fly kites after.

The boys were pretty tired after the morning activities, so they took a little nap.

After nap time, we went up to Nonna and Nonno's. They had a little surprise waiting for him in the garage.
Here's Elio as the garage door is opening:

 YAY!!! A Polaris Ranger!
(just like Nonno!)

 Even a seat for brother!

Thanks Nonno and Nonna!

After the exciting new toy, we had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and a car cake for desert (both requested by the birthday boy).

I'd say it was a pretty great birthday, although I'm a little worried for next year. Aren't birthdays supposed to be better every year? I'm not sure how we're going to top this one!

Yesterday was a great day!

The MOMS Club organized a trip on the Skunk Train for us. First we drove out to Camp Mendocino. It's a boys and girls camp in the summer, but right now they're getting it ready for the campers so there are two families there at the moment. They both have little kids, so they were happy to have us come and play for the day.
It's such a beautiful camp, surrounded by redwood trees, and far enough out of town that it gets warm. We showed up and hung out for a bit, then the train picked up up and took us to Northspur. It was only a 10 minute ride, which seemed perfect for the kids, and I think we all felt pretty special having the train stop just for us. When arrived at Northspur, we had a little lunch, ice cream, hung out and enjoyed the beautiful day.
The train took us back to camp, then we hung out and played and saw some really cute piglets. We all had so much fun and it made me feel so lucky to stay home with the boys and have the opportunity to do things like this with them.
I had shorts picked out and Elio insisted on wearing cowboys boots.
Kinda funny outfit, but he looks pretty cute!
 The swinging bridge.
Can you see the train coming in the background?
 Enjoying the outdoor car.
 mmm...ice cream.
8 week old little pigs.

We just got back from a great weekend away in Vacaville. We went over for Raquel's Bridal Shower. It was such a nice shower, most of the cousin's were there which made it really fun for Elio.
We are so excited for the arrival of baby Nelepovitz, only about a month left, and it can come fast enough!

Elio was such a great little helper.

It was nice to get away for a couple of days, for shopping, relaxing and hot tubing!

♥ Happy Bridal Shower Anna ♥

Anna is one of my really good friends. Actually we've been friends since I can remember, so when she asked me to be part of her big day, I couldn't have been more thrilled.

One of the other bridesmaids threw her such a beautiful bridal shower this last weekend in the Bay Area. I loved getting away for the night and having a little girls time!

 The Beautiful Bride!

Beautiful Weather + Great Kids...
Happy Sunday!
A little tractor work in the morning.

Putting together the new swing set.

Uncle Richie was having a little fun. (play video)

A crab trip in the afternoon.

We even caught a starfish,

and saw a few sea lions.

P.S. Can you see how flat the ocean is? It was like a lake out there. I didn't even get sick!
